SO EXCITING—we were able to negotiate an even lower room rate than our initial contract! Room rates are now $149 per night for singles and doubles, and an additional $10 for each additional person up to 4 people per room. There are a limited number of rooms available 3 days pre and 3 days post-conference—but these are also available for $149 per night. Please note that these rates are good until October 10th OR until our block is filled. There are king bed rooms and rooms with two double beds, but again, they only last until our room block is filled.

Complimentary high-speed wireless internet is included in the guest rooms at no additional charge. However, there is no complimentary internet in the meeting room spaces.

Getting to the Hotel

Fly into PDX—Portland International Airport.

The MAX light rail Red Line is an easy and low-cost way to travel to and from the airport. Get off at Pioneer Square North and walk approximately 3 minutes to the hotel.

  • The trip between the airport and downtown Portland takes about 38 minutes.
  • An adult ticket costs $2.50. MAX ticket machines return change in coins, so small bills are recommended.
  • You can roll your luggage on board.
  • The first train arrives at PDX at 4:45am The last train departs PDX at 11:50pm.
  • The MAX station and ticket machines are located on the lower level, next to the south baggage claim area (turn right at the base of the escalator). View airport map.

Taxis/Uber/Lyft from the airport to the hotel cost approximately $45 + tip.

There are also several different shuttle services. Shuttles can be found at the bottom entrance of the terminal (outside the baggage claim area) on the other side of the second strip (“Island 2”) near the parking garage.


Hop City Market is on the Lobby Level and has a variety of grab-and-go items, including coffee and snacks for breakfast and/or lunch. Hop City Tavern offers breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

There are a variety of restaurants and food options at many different price points within walking distance of the hotel. Currently, many restaurants are closed or still operating at limited capacity, but we expect that to shift as we get closer to the conference.
