Welcome!
The American Educational Studies Association welcomes all graduate students with an interest in the foundations of education. As a cross-disciplinary organization with connections to anthropology, history, politics, and sociology in national and international educational contexts, we support the development of graduate students into scholars. Additionally, we value the diversity of perspectives offered to us from you as new researchers in the field.
The purpose of the AESA Graduate Student Council is to foster collegial relationships between graduate students, provide opportunities for collegial relationships between graduate students and professors in the field and, to provide resources and information toward the growth and development of graduate students as emerging scholars.
We invite all of you to engage and participate in the debate, discussion, praxis, reflection, and theorizing that makes the foundations of education a significant study within the field of education.
